• Service Providers having a total free foreign exchange earning of at least Rs.10 lacs in preceding financial year are entitled to a Duty Credit scrip equivalent to 10% of such foreign exchange earned. 

• This Duty Credit Scrip can be used to import any capital goods, spares, office equipment, professional equipment, office furniture and consumables which are used by the exporter in the service sector of his business

• Duty Credit Scrip means to the extent of amount mentioned therein, customs duty need not be paid by the exporter for his above imports
